Here are some more DJ equipment reviews on DJ CD Players. CD players have been around for a while now for the mainstream consumer. However, for the Pro DJ it took a while before they were accepted at all.
DJ CD turntables such as Pioneer CD players, Numark CD players, Denon CD players, Gemini CD players, Sony CD players, and Technics CD players have caught on for the Club DJ and Mobile DJ because of their versatility and mobility. But for the Battle DJ there is nothing like the feel vinyl on your finger tips.

I for one was slow to accept the use of CD players for clubs, parties and the like but when I realized that because the flexibility was so much better than the traditional turntables I hopped on it.
I began to use my friends Gemini CD players when he started doing wedding gigs. He bought a DJ PA system, a DJ mixer and Pro DJ CD Players.
He does about 1 or 2 gigs a month and brings home anywhere from $500 to $1000 a month on the side. Not bad!
Pro
DJ CD turntables
As I mentioned before the reason why CD players
have caught on is because of the versatility. Because
they are digital they not only play music CDs but
they also play MP3s. So if you have MP3s you have
virtually doubled your arsenal of DJ music.
If you're a Mobile DJ you can have pre made mixes to play at your gigs while you sit back and eat and drink your way to a nice pay day.
Because they're so small and light they are very portable. Which means instead of lugging around heavy turntables and crates of records you can cut your load by 2/3 while increasing your DJ music library not to mention saving time and money.
Having a set of Pro DJ CD players is a must for every Mobile DJ and an option for the Club DJ because Clubs still rely on vinyl. Before you purchase your first set you need to keep some things in mind.
1. Does it play MP3s and regular music CDs and CDRWs?
2. Does it have real time scratch capability?
3. Does it feel like you are spinning vinyl?
4. Can you cue the next track while the current one is playing?
5. Is there pitch control like a DJ turntable?
6. Is it shock proof?
7. Does it have memory points to save your cues of your favorite CDs?
8. Is there an S/PDIF digital output?
9. Is there a sampler and loop function?
10. Also, being able to burn a CD is always nice.
These are the basic features you need in any DJ CD player you purchase.
I gathered a few of the better known brands for you to take a look at. Consider these when you buy your DJ CD players.
This is one of Pioneers top of the line products. It has better response functions and better sound quality to give your mixes that edge to take them to the next level. Pioneer makes higher end CD players with more features but this is a proven Pioneer CD player.

Pioneer CDJ-800 Digital CD Player
This is another unbelievable CD player. This Numark pro DJ CD player is one of their best. I had a chance to use a pair so I asked my local pro DJ shop about this particular one because I was interested in purchasing one. I was told it was one of their best sellers because of its simple design and ease of use.
Numark AXIS 9 Tabletop CD Player with Effects and MIDI
This is a top of the line pro DJ CD Player from Pioneer. This is the same DJ CD Turnable we use in our video tutorials. It is hands down the best on the market today. Here is review on it written by DJ Statik of Ill Vibe Collective.
