Hi, It's been a while since I sent out the last newsletter. I've been steady trucking along venturing into other online interests. I just wanted to hit you up to let you know about the 2009 DJ Expo August 10-13 at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, N.J. The deadline to sign up is June 5 and once again passes to the exhibit hall are free. I've attended 3 out of the last 4 DJ Expos and each one gets better than before. Moving the Expo from the A.C convention center to the Trump Taj Mahal was a good move. There is a lot more room and more offerings. I did not attend the full expo with the various information sessions and workshops but I will this year and I'll report back to you my findings. I want to get the full experience of the expo this year with more pictures and hopefully video. Also if you plan to attend the expo be sure to check out the night time events put on by the expo. Numark NS7 One piece of gear I want to look at first hand is the Numark NS7 which was released to the public March 24, 2009 and hopefully will have on display. This is one thing I like about the expo. You get a chance to get your hands on the gear and try it out and if you like it you get a serous discount if you buy it on the spot. You can even haggle for a lower price if your any good at negotiating. The NS7 was developed specifically with the people at Serato. This partnership allowed the two companies to put together a solid product. Numark created the NS7 and Serato developed Itch. This is the software that was developed specially for the NS7.
