Affiliate Program Update:
We'll all I can say is that "It's On!" The-DJ-Equipment-Guide.com Affiliate Program has unofficially launched. The affiliate site is iDJOnDemand.com. It's been a long time coming and I thank you for your patients.

Site Redesign:
I'd like to tweak the DJ Guide site some more. I am going to add more links the navigation because I think they are relevant to what I see visitors looking for. It will be very clean and easy to navigate and clearly marked. I'll also cut down on the clutter of links. It seems to make it look too busy.

Don't forget to sign up for my RSS feed. Anytime I update my site you'll know instantly.

iDJOnDemand.com Affiliate Program

I'm very excited about this new venture and I hope you will join me. I really want this to take off because the better business we do the more incentives I'll be able to offer high paying affiliates such as Technics turntables and Rane mixers.

I've tests many prices and found that people are willing to pay up to $67 for the videos plus a free membership to iDJOnDemand.com. I will be offering an option to purchase Vol.1 or Vol.2 at $37 each with some bonuses attached. I'll be loading the offer with more bonuses to sweeten the deal.

A 50% commission is set and this might increase up to 75% in the future depending on how many sales we can generate. But we need plenty of affiliates to join and to promote the program.

I'll be developing some promo material and banners and images for you in the affiliate resource center. I am still working on that but it's coming so hold tight. In the mean time I welcome you to try your own marketing skills on Google Adwords or Yahoo Publisher (if you qualify for their beta program).

The affiliate resource are will have a forum so affiliates can pass on their tips on how they promote and market the affiliate program. As I said earlier there will be banners and text resources in this area as well.

I have a vision and this affiliate program is a step closer to that vision and the more affiliates we have on board the bigger our DJ affiliate community can grow and the more money you can make as an affiliate.

Hands On Review of the Technics SLDZ1200

Pros:
Great sensitivity on actual platter, not the simulated record. Superb Hot Start and sampler, multi media format readable, SD Card, MP3, & Cdr's. Great for quick scratch, in the mix. Awesome time count, and changeable display for contrast and position. Variable pitch control 8 - 50 percent. Unbelievable sound from digital outputs. Highly recommended for House, High Energy, Techno, Trance, Hip Hop, Club DJ's. Great illumination for dark booths, (cd slot, and display). Unbelievable vibration resistance. Over all great piece of equipment once you get used to it, definite change from CDJ 1000's.

Cons:
well some not many.... Takes to long to load and cue cd. Finicky with mp3 discs, make sure you use correct format, then flawless afterwards. Needs constant cleaning of lenses (cd cleaner), very picky about dirty cds. Definitely must read owners manual before using!!!!!!!

Additional Comments:
Highly recommend for one who is getting into the digital media!!!!

Playing Videos From Your Desktop

In order to play the 'WMV' files from your desktop, using your mouse, simply right click on the file name and choose 'save as'. This will prompt you to save the file on your computer.

Once it's saved on your computer using your mouse, double click on the file where you saved it and it will play back in Windows Media Player.

DIAL-UP USERS

If you do have dial-up internet access I suggest you get a download manager such as Freshdownload from FreshDevices.com.
