Well, after a month off I'm back. If you haven't checked out the site yet you'll see I've done a little house keeping. I now have more flexibility with the site.

As for the follow up from April's newsletter. I will need some assistance from you. I'll get to that in a moment. As my site has grown in popularity so have the downloads. Since I first started offering free video tips in July of 2004 there have been over 15,000 downloads from subscribers of this newsletter. (That number is probably a lot higher) I want to say thank you for your support. With that I have good news and bad news.

Here's the bad news. So I've decided to charge for the video tutorials and limit my subscriber base to what I've dubbed the "Elite 5000".

The good news is that if you maintain your current subscription to my newsletter you will have a no cost lifetime pass to all future videos and it won't cost you anything. I felt it's the least I could do.

So here's where your help comes in. I only have about 2700 spots left to fill for the Elite 5000. I need you to tell all of your online friends about this offer. It is the only way they can get grand fathered in and avoid any charges for the videos. They must remain a lifetime subscriber. If they unsubscribe they will not be able to subscribe again. NO EXCEPTIONS!

The Elite 5000 will receive a special password that will give them access to all the videos at no cost. Plus any other things I can get my hands on. This will be an exclusive membership and all members will have first crack at all the videos.

I haven't set a date when I will launch the new prices for the videos but believe me it is coming and coming soon. So tell all of your friends because time is running out.

DJ Videos Update

I am still in the process of linking up with Ill Vibe Collective. The month of May was simply not a good time for me due to my work schedule. So as soon as I can get in contact with them we will start recording those new videos.

You can now access the videos by going to the DJ Tutorials page and scroll down to the "DJ Equipment Tutorials" headline.

They are still password protected.

NOTE: Continue to use your current password UNTIL A NEW ONE IS ISSUED To You. Your username will remain the same.

Playing Videos From Your Desktop

In order to play the 'WMV' files from your desktop, using your mouse, simply right click on the file name and choose 'save as'. This will prompt you to save the file on your computer.

Once it's saved on your computer using your mouse, double click on the file where you saved it and it will play back in Windows Media Player.

DIAL-UP USERS

If you do have dial-up internet access I suggest you get a download manager such as SmartDownload from Netscape.

Annual B-boy BBQ June 9 - 11, 2005

If you don't know about the Annual B-Boy BBQ then you are missing out on one of the best street parties in Philadelphia, PA. The promoters and organizers have come back with a vengeance and promised to make this event the best one in its 6 year history. Come out for a day of Hip Hop, DJs, Emcees and Breakers. I'll be there with my camcorder to get it all on video.

International DJ Expo August 15 - 18, 2005

I received my pass for the DJ expo a few weeks ago and I hope you did too because the deadline for the no cost pass was June 6. 2005. But don't let that stop you. There are plenty of workshops and demonstrations from DJ pros and DJ equipment manufacturers. Get into the groove at the International DJ Expo.
