American DJ Introduces LED FX Series Mobile Lighting

American DJ has introduced the LED FX Series, featuring seven new LED effects that will revolutionize the way mobile DJ's, touring bands and small clubs use lighting.

The LED technology used in the American DJ FX Series offers unprecedented benefits such as extremely long life (100,000 hour rated), rich saturated colors that will not fade and razor sharp beams. All of the new LED effects in the series have very low power consumption so more lights can be used in a single circuit. The LED lights also run extremely cool (no duty cycles), which means they can run all night.

The seven fantastic products of the FX Series include:

• Electra LED: Using a special glass optical system this LED scanning mirrored moonflower effect produces sharp red, green and blue beams of light. The output is similar to a 250W halogen lamp.

• Pearl LED WH: An LED moonflower effect that produces bright white beams of light. Using only one 3-Watt LED, this effect has an output equivalent to 400W halogen lamps, allowing it to cover dance floors with non-stop lighting excitement.

• Rover LED: This LED scanning barrel mirrored moonflower effect uses an innovative glass optical system to produce sharp red, green and blue beams of light. A sophisticated effect that includes 46 total LEDs (16 red, 15 green and 15 blue), it creates a spectacular light show that would be impossible with traditional halogen moonflowers. Its wide beams spread covers a large area.

• Pearl LED Color: An LED moonflower effect with a special glass optical system that produces bright multi-colored beams of light. With the use of one 3-Watt LED the Pearl LED Color produces beams similar to that of a 400W halogen lamp. This is a DMX 512 effect with two DMX channels.

• Reflex LED: Bring heart-pounding excitement to any club with this dual mirrored moonflower LED effect. The wide beams cover a large area and is sound activated from built in programs. The LED Moonflowers produces red, green and blue colored beams. Its output is similar to dual 250W halogen lamps.

• Jewel LED: An exciting LED incarnation of an all time classic effect for clubs and dance floors. The effect produces sharp LED patterns that can be projected on a dance floor or a wall. The output is similar to a 100W halogen lamp.

• Dual Gem LED: Using LED Technology and a special glass optical system this LED moonflower effect produces sharp red, green and blue beams of light. Sound activated from built in programs this effect dazzles with its wide vibrant colored beams. The output is similar to dual 250W halogen lamps.
