Anytime I find a way to save money I like to pass it along to other DJs. One of my favorite places to buy DJ equipment online is having a warehouse sale on all of the musical instruments including DJ equipment.
Musicians Friend is having a special warehouse sale where they have to get rid of their overstock items and scratch and dent items.
You can save up to 57% on DJ equipment and up to 75% on their other items. Now is a good time to take a look to see what hey have incase you're in the market for some music gear.

by DJ Skip Mode - Ill Vibe Collective
Summary - In this tutorial on Advanced Beat Juggling, DJ Skip Mode, of Ill Vibe Collective jumps right into the lesson. He doesn't talk much so you have to pay close attention to the video. I put a clip of him in slow motion so you could get a sense of how it's done at half speed.

The Numark TTX1 has done a very, very bad thing. They have turned the DJ world on its ear and forced diehard Technics 1200 users to come into the 21 century myself included.
Get more info on the Numark TTX1 Direct Drive Turntable here.

iPod shuffle is the newest member of the iPod family. Its the smallest, lightest, most affordable iPod yet.
iPod Shuffle rejects routine by serving up your favorite songs in a different order every time. Smaller than a pack of gum and as light as a car key, theres nowhere iPod shuffle cant go.
iPod shuffle features 12 hours of continuous playback and charges directly through the USB port on a PC or Mac, or with the optional power adapter when youre on the road.

The Gemini CD1800X pro CD player and digital turntable offers powerful DSP (digital signal processing) effects such as "on the fly" seamless looping, zoom (flange), reverse, filter, and brake, which help your digital DJ-ing more closely approximate--and even exceed in quality--the effects from an analog turntable.
It is jammed packed with features as you can
see and very versatile with its ability to perform
at about the same level as a Pioneer CDJ 1000.
But don't get carried away. It's still a Gemini
and they don't cater to the upscale DJ that demands
more from their pro CD players.

Finally! Gemini has caught on. A Review of the Gemini CDJ02 CD player.
Watch out for the Gemini CDJ02 CD Player. Dont quote me on this but Gemini must have stolen designs from Numark or Apple because they finally got it right.
The biggest benefit for any DJ is price. With
the Gemini CDJ02 CD player it won't
hit our bank account so hard. Your being rippedoff
if you pay more than $200 for it. You
can get it here for 41% off.

DJ X2K has put together 2 short video clips on how to juggle beats. You'll need to play them over and over again to get the hang of what he's doing. He calls this Pattern 1 for lack of a better term. l.

Check out more video clips at Realtablist.com. Notice the DJ mixer they use. The Rane TTM56. The same one used in my DJ video tutorials. It's no coincidence. This mixer is the real deal.

In contrast to the Advanced Scratching with DJ Statik notice the totally different style DJ Panek brings. The same effect is achieved through a different placement of his hand on the vinyl. It is much closer to the center of the spindle and which means less movement back and forth while scratching.

In this 5 minute short DJ Statik shows off some turntable skills. Take into account the coordination of the left hand that's on the turntable and the right hand that's on the mixers cross fader. A deep sense of rhythm and tempo go into keeping his scratches on time and precise. See if you can keep up.
