You decide to put together your own DJ package but you have come to a head and can't seem to decide on what mixer is best for you or what turntable is best for you.

Battle DJ's need to keep in mind some things about the type of DJ equipment they buy because they tend to be the most rigorous with their gear. They need to buy DJ gear that is durable and that can take abuse especially when it comes to mixers. So here are my recommended DJ packages for Battle DJ's.

I selected turntables that are used mostly by turntablists and to compliment that I chose 2 channel mixers that are designed specifically for turntablists. With these DJ mixers there is no clutter surrounding the cross fader which makes for excellent battle style routines.

CD DJ Equipment Packages
For a high-end CD DJ equipment package for battle DJ's add two Pioneer CDJ-1000MK3 CD/MP3 players. These cost $1299 and if you have the money to spring for a pair then it's well worth the money. They really hold their value much like the Technics 1200 Direct Drive Turntable.
