The Gemini CDMP-6000 from top to bottom gives the DJ all the tools they need at their fingertips.

With two big, bright, illuminated VFD displays, one per channel, the DJ will always know where they are in their music while performing live. The VFD displays show you the playback of your media such as the track number, time elapsed/remaining, track progress, pitch percentage, BPM, ID3 text read out, and also lets you see the current play mode the unit is in such as CD or USB mode.

The CD player section offers all the functionality of high-end, professional CD players.

The center of the unit there are 3 band EQs per channel with Gain control is essential to all DJS. This will allow you to tweak not only the output to your speakers, but tweak each channels input level into your mixer, allowing you to make sure both channels are equal in levels and not over powering one another. Below the EQs you will find the Seamless Loop buttons and important controls such as Program Mode, Play/Repeat buttons, and the Track/Folder Search knob for quick searches with your CD or Digital media.

In the center on each side of the channels and the smooth Rail Glide fader you have 2 large Jog Wheels for full control of your music. The jog wheel operates in 2 modes, SEARCH and Pitch Bend. The hands on use of the job wheel makes it very easy to scan through a track and even adjust the pitch with slight of hand to get dead on beat. The CUE and PLAY/PAUSE buttons are also conveniently located below the Job Wheel for quick cueing and playing while in the mix. The instant response buttons and jog wheels provide an exceptional feature for independent quick play and full control or your music.

Beat-mixing at your next BIG GIG won’t be so hard with the help of the onboard variable pitch control with three settings +/- 8,16 & 24%. Essential to all the PRO BEAT MIXERS out there, but also an excellent feature for those just starting out on this mixing method. With 3 pitch settings to choose from you can definitely mix and match your songs on beat and in sync all the time.

You can also use the SCRATCH function to perform even more amazing effects while at your even. With the large jog wheel, the scratch feature is easy to use and offers an excellent feature to an already AMAZING unit.

The capability of having a direct USB input on this unit gives you unlimited access to all your digital music. The USB input slot is located on the top left corner of the CDMP-6000. The music content stored on your USB Keys/Flash Drive instantly loads once plugged into USB input slot. Now you can drop that new mash-up you just made an hour ago and play it right off your USB drive…its that convenient.
