MixEmergency 1.0 now available

Hamilton, New Zealand - December 15, 2008:  Inklen is proud to announce the release of the final version of MixEmergency 1.0 - a Mac visualisation application to mix and manipulate videos and Quartz Compositions in real-time.

The release comes after three well-received public beta versions and months of hard work.  It not only includes bug-fixes, but adds several features such as new effects, a wet/dry effect mix control and a new and improved high-performance rendering pipeline.

"We've tried to create a product that allows DJs to be more expressive with their visual sets", says Nick Feisst, Director of Inklen.  "We're excited to be able to expand the range of possibilities that are easily available to DJs and VJs while also keeping the program simple enough for those just wishing to mix videos and add the occasional text or image overlay".

MixEmergency can be used as a plug-in for Scratch Live and is fully MIDI controllable, so users with MIDI capable mixers can quickly and easily map MIDI controls to almost any of MixEmergency's functions.  Over 40 built-in effects and transitions are included to allow DJs to manipulate their visuals in exciting new ways.

The full version of MixEmergency 1.0 is now available for US$179 from the Inklen website.  A demo of MixEmergency 1.0, with a watermark over the output, is available for download from http://www.mixemergency.com/.
