Pioneer makes just about every electronics equipment and device you can imagine for auto, home and corporate use.

They distribute DVD and VHS products as well. But where they really hit the ground running is with their DJ equipment.

Pioneer DJ equipment is cutting edge which makes them so desirable. Their research and development team always seem to be ahead of the curve.

Take for example the Pioneer DMP-555 Digital DJ Media Player.

This media player has no limits. It can be used as s single DJ CD player or it can be used as a dual DJ CD player with its built in mixer.

It does this by using the SD card to play MP3s while playing a CD.

You can control the levels, pitch and effect individually and there is a beat matching indicator for easy mixing.

It also comes with powerful ripping software so you can easily manage all of you digital music. Just load them into the SD card and start mixing.

Another reason why Pioneer DJ equipment is so powerful is the Pioneer CDJ-1000MK2.

Pioneer CDJ-1000MK3 CD/MP3 Player

Pioneer CDJ-1000MK3 CD/MP3 Player

The Pioneer CDJ-1000 MK3 features the same robust build, polished look, and clear layout as previous CDJs. But the subtle revisions add more intuitive features, make it easier to transport music, and improve track info: refinements that make cueing, looping, scratching, and stretching a track easier than ever. With full MP3 support including VBR files, intelligent features, such as the direct folder search button, you can quickly access files within folders on the disc for intuitive, fast cueing. A total wide tempo range (+70% to 100%) also gives greater control than other models. An instant reverse feature is controlled with a toggle switch and can be used immediately within any track without having to stop or start. Along with multimedia cards, SD cards are now also compatible with the CDJ-1000 MK3 so that hot cues, hot loop points, and WAV display data can be easily stored and loaded. The removable memory card can also be used in any CDJ-1000, so once you've stored your favorite cue and loop points they're stored for life. The CDJ-1000 MK3 also has a feature that allows you to duplicate memory cards. The display of the MK3 has been improved to give more accurate display of memory points within the track. The CDJ-1000 MK3's 7" jogdial has been improved so you can quickly and easily alter the resistance of the jog wheel to tailor it to your individual style. The jogdial also features a new metallic...

It is twice the power of the DMP-555 but it's also twice the price coming in at a whopping $1,149.00. Did you have a heart attack yet? If you're serious about your DJ equipment then go for it. This is definitely not for the faint of heart and neither is the Pioneer CMX-3000 Dual Rackmount CD Player.

Pioneer does a great job at making solid high performance mixers. Their construction is second to none and the versatility is exceptional. They make several models but I'll only mention two for this review. The first one is the Pioneer DJM-3000 Pro DJ Rackmountable Mixer.

This is their high end digital mixer. I'm not a huge fan of expensive mixers because my mixes don't get that fancy or complicated. But I am impressed with its capabilities.

If you're a Mobile or Club DJ then you may want to give this mixer special consideration if you have a digital PA system like the Bose 802 Series III System Package. This puppy pumps out a digital signal to no end and your house DJs will come to appreciate the many extras such as auto-pan, auto-transformer, auto-BPM, and auto-filter.

The other mixer is the DJM 400.

The thing that I like most about this is the large BPM LEDs . They automatically pick the BPM for any dance music from any source that's hooked up to it. The EQ allows for -infinity dB to +6dB on each channel.

It's built with high quality parts so it's still relatively expensive but well worth the price.

Pioneer DJM-400 Professional DJ Mixer

The DJM-400 audio mixer matches Pioneer's CDJ-200 CD turntable in both function and design, allowing DJs to expand the range of DJing and remixing. Its new symmetrical design is the same size as a CDJ-200, enabling an easy fit in a compact DJ coffin.World's First In-Loop Sampler An intelligent 24-bit/96kHz sampler automatically detects the tempo of a song during playback, sampling it for a length of 4 beats then loops the sample. Since the sampled sound is in sync with the beat of the tune being played, no matter the tempo, it enables live remixing like never before. Samples are automatically stretched and compressed to match the beat. The DJM-400 will store five samples onboard for a total of 12 seconds of sample time.Onboard Effects and Equalization Onboard effects automatically detect the beats per minute of the music and sync to the beats. The DJM-400 includes seven onboard effects: Delay, Echo, Filter, Flanger, Phaser, Robot, and Roll. All effects are processed at 24-bits for the highest quality sound. A new beat select" button allows more intuitive and aggressive DJ playing and remixing. Each channel has 3-band isolator EQ with full cut capability. The EQ ranges from +9dB to - (infinity) for total control of the sound. The DJM-400 offers a number of key features for professional DJs. It has the ability to select either of 2 microphone connections or one stereo line connection. A fader start that...

You always get the best in Pioneer DJ equipment.
